It's part of an emeritus program, so I'm the youngest student -- by more than several years. The teacher is a very sweet little Japanese (great) grandma, and she enjoys talking to me in Japanese. It is great language practice, though I can already tell that I'm forgetting things. You know what they say, use it or lose it.

SD ikebana #1
I actually found ikebana classes in San Diego. 
It's part of an emeritus program, so I'm the youngest student -- by more than several years. The teacher is a very sweet little Japanese (great) grandma, and she enjoys talking to me in Japanese. It is great language practice, though I can already tell that I'm forgetting things. You know what they say, use it or lose it.
